Graduated in 2017 with BA in Econ. I'm working as an Operations Analyst at a fairly large technology distributor. I really don't mind what I do, but the salary is remarkably terrible. Even when you factor in that we have profit sharing and adjust for location, my experience, and relative to my industry I am getting screwed. On the upside, as others have touched on, a degree in Econ is pretty versatile and can get you to qualify for what alot of employers are looking for. Just remember when you do graduate that employers are pretty dumb about how they select who to interview. Way too many places will just take the top 10 resumes off the stack (literal or figuratively) and those are the only interviews they do--- even if 100 people applied. So try not to get discouraged if you put in to 50 places in and only get a response from 1; it's likely much more a reflection on their incompetence than yours. Good luck!
