level 2 You can do internships on a J1 visa which has no cap so you wouldn't really be competing against H1Bs
I went to a university in NY that required co-ops to graduate and I recently transferred to VT. The number of CS opportunities I would say are about the same. Even though Blacksburg isn't "Silicon Valley", it is close enough to DC to attract tons of companies. The only difference between my NY school and VT in regard to opportunities is that there are wayyy more government contractor opportunities at VT career fairs. Regardless, VT students intern everywhere so I don't think you're missing out on any opportunities.

So I am international student from nepal considering applying to Bachelors CS program. I just wanted to know if are there companies willing to hire international students in the area and do they come to utarlington? Also general consensus of companies like TCS, Infosys Wipro is bad so I want to avoid them. I have got admit from ut dallas, university of houston, and a canadian university. Thanks a lot
I'm an international student currently majoring in Kinesiology BS. My goal is to get Kinesiology MS degree, acquire ACSM and ACLS certifications and work in the medical field as an exercise physiologist in the States. Given that I have fulfilled almost all of the requirements that the field requires, do I still have a chance to get a visa sponsorship from the clinic and work there? I tried to look up if there's any exercise physiologists that are from other countries and working in the States but couldn't find much information about it.
